Lyrical / Contemporary
Sarah is a brilliant choreographic talent who has worked with well known choreographers & directors worldwide. Recent credits include ‘SYTYCD’, ‘Dance Academy’ (ABC) , ‘Giggle & Hoot’ (ABC 3) & International Congress Awards representing Sydney Dance Company. Sarah also choreographed for Meryl Tankard’s ‘Kiada’ & featured in Celine Dion’s ‘A New Day’ with Mia Michaels & Franco Dragone. Sarah is sought after for her contemporary works & is the director of her own school ‘Ev & Bow’ in Sydney. We are thrilled to have Sarah on our faculty as a guest teacher in 2012.

Extreme Dance Photo Competition
How to Enter
1.Take a picture of yourself or your friends striking a dance pose around Melbourne (Please don't trespass / Break into Buildings / Break a leg while trying to get a good shot) *The Space takes no responsibility for arrests or hospital stays.
2. Email your photo to The Space: rebecca@thespace.com.au and we will upload it on Facebook.
3. Get your friends, Family and the next door neighbour to like The Space Dancewear and your picture on the page.
4.The picture with the most likes wins a pair of dance shoes of their choice from Space Dancewear.

New Ballet Classes with Robert Kelly
Robert Kelly has worked as a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher for over 20 years worldwide .He teaches to motivate and inspire performers of all levels and ages with a view to an enhanced appreciation of the development of performing arts.
As a performer he has danced principal roles in Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, Graduation Ball, Coppelia, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker,Paquita and many other classical ballets.In the neo-contemporary realm he has also featured as a soloist dancer in works from Marc Bogaerts, Peter Breuer, Gonzalo Galguerra and many others and later performed in Cats, Grease, Evita , Kiss me Kate and various productions for European arts festivals.
After establishing himself choreographically Faust 1 and 2 were his first projects for the state theatre of St. Gallen in Switzerland where he also choreographed Dario Fo's 'Offener Zweier Bezieung' and later several works for the 'Institut auf Dem Rosenberg'. His works to date in various other places include Vivaldis' four seasons, Peter and the Wolf, Orpheus and Eurydice, Rueckwaerts in Siebter Gang, Drencenched,(Arvo Paert), Virtuoso,(J.S.Bach) and others.

Mirrors for Sale!
The Space has a number of large dance mirrors, surplus to our requirements.
The mirrors measure 1.8m (height) x 1.2m (width) and are 6mm thick with a safety vinyl backing.
Pick up is available, or we can arrange delivery
The mirrors are $150 each (incl. GST).
